National Bike Month is an opportunity to celebrate the unique power of the bicycle and the many reasons we ride. And what better reason to ride than for a good cause!?! Greater Mercer TMA (Mercer and Ocean), and Keep Middlesex Moving, Inc. (Middlesex) are teaming up this year for another You Bike, We Give challenge and we invite bicyclists to pledge to ride at least once during the month of May.  In return, the TMAs will make a donation to the Bicycle Exchanges in their counties.

The League of American Bicyclists established May as National Bike Month in 1956.  It’s a way to encourage safe bicycling for work, pleasure, and health.  For this challenge, you can be biking around town for errands, commuting to work, going to the library, riding to school with the kids, or any other bike rides that replace a car ride.  Bicyclists can pledge to ride at https://bit.ly/youbikewegive2021  Those who pledge to bike will receive a welcome email and a weekly theme, safety tips and encouragement.

More details about the event can be found at https://bit.ly/youbikewegive2021
