Celebrate National Bike Month with Greater Mercer TMA and join the Bike to Happy Photo Challenge!

Every week in May, we’ll share a new prompt inviting you to bike to destinations throughout Mercer County, Ocean County, Montgomery Township, and Plainsboro, New Jersey. The goal? Capture a smiling photo of you and your bike to show how bicycling creates happiness, connection, and fun in everyday travel.

It’s a great way to explore your community, discover new favorite places, and share what makes you happy—all while earning chances to win prizes and inspiring others to ride.

Each week features a new “Bike to Happy” theme, so grab your bike, ride to your happy place, and snap a photo that shows just how good biking feels! 🚲✨

Contest Rules:

Eligibility

Photos must be taken in Mercer County, Ocean County, Montgomery Township, or Plainsboro.
Open to all ages. Participants under 18 must have parent or guardian consent submitted during registration.

Photo Guidelines

Photos must clearly show you and your bike at the designated location to be eligible.
Smiling encouraged! Show the joy of biking 😊
Friends and family may be included, as long as everyone in the photo is comfortable being photographed.
Tag @GMTMA and use #BiketoHappy when sharing on social media to stay connected.

Winner Selection

Winners will be selected from all eligible entries.
Selected participants will be contacted via the email address provided during registration.
Winning photos will be shared after winners have been notified.
