NJ Smart Workplaces (NJSW) is a prestigious recognition earned by employers for offering outstanding commuter services to their employees. The award program is sponsored annually by the NJ Department of Transportation and implemented throughout New Jersey by the eight regional TMA organizations.
The NJSW awards recognize the efforts of local businesses working to make our communities cleaner, greener and more sustainable by providing employee commuter benefits that help reduce congestion and improve air quality such as train station shuttles, flextime programs, telecommuting programs, bike racks and shower facilities, and pre-tax payroll deductions for commuting costs.
